Last month some bloggers, myself included, from the #brunchclub group were invited to go along to Sachie’s Kitchen in Parnell to experience A Taste of Asia thanks to Contiki. Conitki had organised and provided dumpling cooking class for 30 #brunchclub members – lucky us!
The morning started off with some house keeping from Sachie and her team, followed by some fun games to get us all in to team play mode. The four #brunchclub teams were then away and making dumplings!
They looked a lot easier to make when Sachie did them, but we got there in the end. Our team ended up making four different kinds of dumplings – all were delicious!
Sachie gave us the recipes to take home to try for ourselves – I can’t wait to give them a go and put my own take on Japanese dumplings!
Huge huge huge thank you goes out to Contiki for this amazing morning at Sachie’s Kitchen. After the workshop we got to hang out for an hour with the Contiki crew, ask questions and learn about their new tour/itinerary called Japan Unrivalled, it’s a 13-day exploration of some of the Japan’s most culturally-rich cities.
